About this expansion

1st & Goal: Northeast Division is an expansion for 1st & Goal for 2–4 players, with an approximately 60-minute play time. Released in 2011, it adds 28 dice representing four custom teams in the Dice Football League’s Northeast Division.

Each team brings a distinct statistical profile, giving the division a mix of powerful rushing attacks, dangerous passing games, and highly ranked defenses. The set includes the Boston Bombers, Manchester Marauders, Newark Nighthawks, and Rochester Rockets.

• Boston Bombers: A strong ground game ranked 9th, a 20th-ranked passing game, and a top-twenty defense. Coach Pete Sapalla expects the team to rely on innovative running plays.
• Manchester Marauders: The division’s top-ranked running game and 10th-ranked passing game, balanced by a less-than-stellar defense. Star runner Hugh Mungus is ready to carry the offense.
• Newark Nighthawks: Their offense ranks 21st in rushing and 18th in passing, but their defense is ranked 2nd. Defensive end Bubba Ganooj promises a hard-hitting unit.
• Rochester Rockets: A 20th-ranked running game supports the division’s 3rd-ranked passing game, along with a top-ten defense. Quarterback Rocco Gibralter leads their explosive aerial attack.
