About this expansion

1st & Goal: Northwest Division is an expansion for 1st & Goal that adds four custom teams and 28 dice to the Dice Football League. Designed for 2–4 players, a game takes about 60 minutes.

The Northwest division features teams with sharply different strengths. The Boulder Barrage combines the league’s 22nd-ranked running game and 17th-ranked passing game with a top-five defense, making defensive play its defining feature.

The Portland Pounders bring a sixth-ranked running game and fourth-ranked passing game, but their 21st-ranked defense leaves them relying on offensive production. The Salt Lake City Shakers also emphasize offense, with the league’s fourth-ranked running game and seventh-ranked passing game, while their defense ranks 22nd.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, the St. Paul Paladins have the number-one defense in the league. Their offense is less imposing, with the 18th-ranked running game and 22nd-ranked passing game, so their defensive strength is central to their identity.
