A Game of Thrones: The Card Game (Second Edition) – Calm over Westeros is a 2016 Chapter Pack expansion for 2–4 players. It continues the first cycle of the Westeros cycle as the story approaches the end of the first book in A Song of Ice and Fire.

Westeros rests beneath a deceptive calm, but important events are already unfolding. In King’s Landing, Eddard Stark continues uncovering the lies surrounding Robert Baratheon’s children, while the Eyrie is shaken by Tyrion Lannister’s arrival and his desperate attempt to win his freedom.

Across the Narrow Sea, a maegi plots vengeance against Khal Drogo after the destruction of her peaceful village. These story threads bring familiar characters and locations into the card game, giving players new ways to shape their decks and strategies.

Like the other Chapter Packs in the Westeros cycle, Calm over Westeros adds new cards and plots to expand deckbuilding options. The pack introduces several instantly recognizable elements from the setting, including:

The expansion also includes two new plots: one loyal to House Tyrell and one neutral. Together, these additions provide fresh material for future decks while reflecting the growing tension and consequences of the events in the first book.
