About this expansion

ASL Action Pack #3: Few Returned is a two-player Advanced Squad Leader scenario bundle with an estimated play time of 240 minutes. It features 12 Italian ASL scenarios set during World War Two, covering battles against the Soviets on the Eastern Front and clashes with Germany in Italy.

Designed and researched by Mark Pitcavage, the pack offers nine Eastern Front scenarios and three Italian scenarios. The settings range from 1942 to 1943 and include locations such as Arbuzov, Chertkovo, Rossosch, Nikolajewka, Valuiki, Mezzocamino, Magliana, and Monterotondo.

• 12 Italian ASL scenarios, numbered AP17 through AP28
• Three geomorphic mapboards in the ASL Starter Kit style: boards 24, 42, and 43
• Scenarios ranging from 4.5 to 9 turns
• Nine scenarios on the Eastern Front and three in Italy

The scenario titles include The Valley of Death, Winter of Their Discontent, Victory is Life, Red Don, Tridentina Avanti!, and The Hunters Become The Hunted. Together, they present a varied collection of Italian actions across two major theaters of the war.

Playing Few Returned requires several ASL modules: Beyond Valor, Yanks, Croix de Guerre, Armies of Oblivion, For King and Country, Doomed Battalions, Hollow Legions, Code of Bushido, ASL Starter Kit #1, and Action Pack #1. Current versions include the corrected version of board 42, resolving a printing error found in the original release.

For veteran ASL players, Few Returned brings a focused set of Italian scenarios and new mapboards to the tabletop.
