About this expansion
For King and Country: ASL module 5a is an Advanced Squad Leader module for 2–6 players, with an approximately 240-minute play time. Released in 2003, it presents the complete British Order of Battle in ASL terms, together with 20 revised and updated scenarios.
The scenario collection draws from favorites that originally appeared in past magazines or modules that are now unavailable. Existing errata have been incorporated, and some scenarios were changed in an effort to improve balance. The updated scenarios are numbered 91 through 110, including Ad Hoc at Beaurains, Tavronitis Bridge, The Crux of Calais, On Silent Wings, Regalbuto Ridge, and North Bank.
For King and Country also includes geomorphic mapboards that are not available in any other ASL module. The second edition contains eight 8×22 unmounted maps—6, 7, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 32—while the first edition contains four 8×22 mounted maps: 1, 7, 8, and 12.
- Complete British Order of Battle, including a Chapter H section
