About this expansion

Android: Netrunner – Data and Destiny is a two-player deluxe expansion for Android: Netrunner The Card Game, with games lasting about 45 minutes. Released in 2015, it contains 165 cards focused on media giant NBN and three groundbreaking Runners.

In the world of Android: Netrunner, knowledge is power—and NBN controls an extraordinary share of humanity’s collected information. Its pervasive data network, infrastructure, media, and messages help define modern society, giving the Corporation a powerful platform for shaping the world.

Data and Destiny strengthens NBN’s media-focused strategy with new cards and three identity cards representing newly launched divisions. Across the expansion, you will find tools that support advertising, information control, and the initiatives behind NBN’s efforts to influence the network.

  • 165 cards: three copies each of 55 different cards.
  • New media-focused assets, agendas, and resources for NBN.
  • New advertisements and ICE that can selectively target and tag opponents.
  • Three NBN identity cards, each tied to a new division.

Opposing NBN are three new Runners, each offering a distinct interpretation of the Runner experience. One is a Globalsec-backed network security officer, one is a bioroid mysteriously freed from the Third Directive, and one is a mysterious, predatory presence that devours everything it encounters on the net.

Each Runner also introduces a new Runner mini-faction. With these three unprecedented perspectives, Android: Netrunner – Data and Destiny expands the game with new Runner paradigms while giving NBN fresh ways to control data—and destiny.
