About this expansion

Android: Netrunner – Kala Ghoda is a two-player data pack for Android: Netrunner, with games lasting about 45 minutes. It introduces the future of the Indian Union and the sprawling megapolis of Mumbad to the Mumbad Cycle.

In this hopeful yet unequal democracy, the old caste system is considered a relic of history. Daily life now recognizes two divisions instead: human and android. As elections approach, the Indian Union is consumed by a divisive question: should clones receive full citizenship?

Kala Ghoda explores the political turmoil surrounding that debate through 60 new cards, including a complete playset of 19 different cards. These additions bring new opportunities to all seven factions while transporting Corps and Runners into Mumbad, a vast urban region stretching from Mumbai in the south to Ahmedabad in the north.

  • 60 new cards for Android: Netrunner
  • A complete playset of 19 different cards
  • A setting centered on the Indian Union and Mumbad
  • Political conflict over clone citizenship
  • New opportunities for all seven factions

The political environment creates possibilities across the game, but Jinteki has its own priorities. The corporation will stop at nothing to ensure that its most lucrative product remains a product, adding corporate tension to the wider debate over identity, rights, and citizenship.

With its focused setting and politically charged theme, Kala Ghoda opens the Mumbad Cycle with a portrait of a dynamic society facing a fundamental question about who belongs. It is a compact expansion for players ready to explore a new chapter of Android: Netrunner.
