About this expansion

Android: Netrunner – Martial Law is a 2016 Data Pack for two players, designed for games lasting about 45 minutes. It is the fifth and penultimate Data Pack in the Flashpoint Cycle, continuing the story of a New Angeles overwhelmed by chaos.

The city’s citizens are trapped in arcologies or gathered in whatever safe places they can find, while the streets have become a warzone. The corporations cannot—or will not—restore order, leaving the U.S. government to intervene.

Shock and awe define this expansion. Martial Law introduces sixty new cards that bring the conflict between Runner and Corp into a city facing an uncertain new order. Among them are two new neutral currents: one for the Runner and one for the Corp.

  • 60 new cards in total
  • 20 different cards, with three copies of each
  • Two new neutral currents, one for Runner and one for Corp

These additions offer new ways to explore the Flashpoint Cycle’s escalating crisis while asking a central question: when order is finally established, who will be seen as the winners?

Martial Law is a focused chapter in the continuing Android: Netrunner story, combining an atmosphere of urban collapse with the looming presence of government intervention. As New Angeles changes, the expansion leaves players to consider not only who gains control, but also what that victory may have cost.
