Anno 1800: The Board Game is an economic development game for 2–4 players, with play lasting about 120 minutes. Based on Ubisoft’s popular PC game, it challenges you to build a prosperous home island through industry, trade, and careful population planning.

Develop your own industrial network while keeping pace with the changing wishes of your inhabitants. They may begin by asking for essentials such as bread and clothing, but their expectations soon rise to valuable luxury goods.

To meet these demands, you must plan production chains sensibly and decide how your population is specialized. A successful island depends on balancing the roles of its different inhabitants:

• Workers
• Craftsmen
• Engineers
• Investors

Your ship fleets expand the possibilities beyond your starting island. Use them to support lively trade and develop new islands in both the Old World and the New World, creating new opportunities for your growing economy.

Competition remains constant throughout the game. Other players can claim new achievements before you do, so your plans must respond not only to your population’s needs but also to the actions of your rivals.
