Battle Dome

About this board game

Battle Dome is a pinball-style action game for 2-4 players that takes about 10 minutes to play. Colored plastic marbles drop from a motorized dispenser onto a central dome, then roll toward one of four chutes.

Each player controls a set of flippers at their chute. Use them to shoot falling marbles into an opponent’s goal while trying to keep marbles out of your own. The action is fast, physical, and focused on quick reactions as the marbles move across the dome.

Marbles interact with spinners and bells positioned on the dome, creating a lively pinball-style playing area. These components can be rearranged, allowing the dome’s layout to change between games or during setup.

• A black “stealth” marble that counts extra when it reaches your goal

Any marbles in your goal count against you, so every player must balance attacking opponents with defending their own chute. The black stealth marble is especially important because it carries extra weight in the scoring.

When fewer than four people are playing Battle Dome, a fence can be used to block off one or two chutes. That keeps the contest focused for smaller groups while preserving the game’s rapid-fire competition. Released in 1994, it delivers a compact burst of marble-flipping action.
