About this expansion

Battles of Westeros: Lords of the River is a 2011 expansion for two-player battles of about 60 minutes, introducing House Tully as an ally force.

The tan-colored Tully miniatures can supplement House Stark or, when using the Skirmish rules, House Lannister from the Core Set. Their distinct color makes allied troops easy to identify on the battlefield while adding greater customization to Skirmish battles.

Lead House Tully with three new commanders: Edmure Tully, Brynden “Blackfish” Tully, and Marq Piper. The expansion also brings three loyal unit types to the conflict:

• Tully River Riders
• Tully Longbowmen
• Warriors of Wayfarer’s Rest

New keywords expand the possibilities of battle in the Riverlands. Riverborn gives House Tully an edge when fighting near rivers, while Indirect Fire helps hinder enemies in terrain that affects the fight.

Lords of the River includes a rules and battle plan book, new terrain, and House Tully Gambit and Skirmish cards. These additions provide new scenarios, battlefield elements, and options for bringing the leaping trout of House Tully into your games.

The expansion also introduces the first Battles of Westeros Premium Banners, replacing the cardboard token banners from the Core Set. With new commanders, units, rules, cards, terrain, and upgraded banners, Lords of the River broadens the forces available for Battles of Westeros.
