Black Rose Wars: Familiar Hydra is a familiar pack for 2–4 players, designed for games lasting around 90 minutes and released in 2021.

These packs add pets to your Black Rose Wars games. If the little animals have nested in your lodge, they can be activated to let you choose one of three familiar magic cards. Choosing a card allows you to summon the Familiar.

Once summoned, a Familiar may be placed adjacent to its master using the distinctive half-moon base, a base patented in Sine Tempore. From there, the Familiar provides special abilities to its master, adding another way for these animal companions to support play.

Familiars are not limited to staying beside their masters. You can also move these animals freely around the lodge, using their own characteristics and skills as they take part in the game.

• Summon the Familiar and place it adjacent to its master.
• Use the Familiar’s special abilities, characteristics, and skills.

Black Rose Wars: Familiar Hydra focuses on the relationship between each animal and its master while giving familiars room to move through the lodge. Whether positioned nearby or moved freely, these pets bring their own presence and abilities to your games.
