About this board game

Catacombs Cubes is a 1–4 player building game with an approximately 60-minute play time, set in the world of Catacombs. Players draft Tetris-like wooden shapes from the quarry and race to construct structures from blueprints.

Each completed building becomes part of the growing town of Stormtryne. The goal is to successfully build the most structures, making every blueprint and drafted shape part of the competition. At the heart of the game is a novel cube-building mechanism.

Catacombs Cubes is designed as more than an abstract construction puzzle. It features characters and places from the Catacombs setting, adding plenty of theme to the process of drafting shapes and assembling buildings.

• Two drafting systems: The box includes resource-drafting mechanics using dice and tiles.
• Multiple game modes: Choose between competitive and passive modes.
• Four-player support: The base game includes enough components for up to four players.

With its blueprint-driven construction, wooden shapes, and expanding town, the game gives players a clear shared objective while offering different ways to approach resource drafting. The available modes also support both competitive play and a more passive experience.
