About this board game

Conejos en el Huerto is a light Eurogame for 2–4 players that takes about 40 minutes, challenging you to guide two rabbits through a vegetable garden and harvest more valuable produce than your opponents.

The garden is built with a randomly configured modular board, creating a new layout for each game. Players begin with their rabbits in their burrows, then take turns moving them around the rondell. The possible destinations depend on the positions of both rabbits, making every movement an important planning decision.

At the end of your turn, the rabbits’ positions determine which vegetables you can harvest. You may be unable to collect a variety if its supply is already empty, while the watchdog can also prevent the harvest. The garden contains five species of vegetables, and competition grows as players seek the best opportunities.

• Navigate a modular board with movement shaped by both rabbits’ positions.
• Plan around empty vegetable supplies and the dog’s interference.
• Convert your harvest into victory points at the end of the game.

When the game ends, players score their collected vegetables according to the scoring system in use. Varieties that have been completely emptied provide fewer points, so harvesting everything is not always the best outcome. The player with the most victory points wins.

Although the board is configured randomly, Conejos en el Huerto removes random factors from play itself. Success depends on careful planning, positioning, and making good decisions throughout the game, making it a concise and thoughtful garden-themed contest.
