About this expansion

D-Day Dice (Second Edition): Atlantikwall is a cooperative World War II board game for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 45 minutes. This redesigned and vastly expanded version includes six Battle Maps, including Omaha Beach II and Exercise: Fabius.

The box also contains three independent mini-expansions that can be added individually or combined. Together, they introduce a German opponent, unpredictable battlefield conditions, and special rewards tied to Battle Cry results.

  • Atlantikwall: One player can take the German side on any existing Battle Map, turning a two-player game into a head-to-head confrontation or joining a larger group, including a solo game. The German player rolls dice to gather resources, recruits unique Specialists, finds Items, and spends Courage to draw powerful one-time Decorations. Rather than moving across the map, this player activates its features and makes life difficult for the Allies.
  • Battle Conditions: A deck of 50 cards affects every player at the start of each turn. These effects supersede Sector attributes and can introduce smoke cover, friendly fire, plane crashes, burning supply trucks, morale loss, or opportunities to exploit.
  • Badges: This reprint of the hard-to-find first-edition mini-expansion adds 10 cards. A Unit obtaining a Battle Cry RWB can draw a Badge for a one-time effect, often helping it gain RWB bonuses or Awards more easily.

With modular content and multiple ways to alter the battlefield, D-Day Dice (Second Edition): Atlantikwall lets players choose how much additional tension and variety to bring to each Battle Map.
