Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Kyndrithul Lieutenant Pack is a 2015 addition for 2–5 players that brings Kyndrithul, lord of House Dalibor, into any Descent campaign.

Kyndrithul is a renowned sorcerer and vampire who has withdrawn from the politics and backstabbing of his vampiric kin. Focused on studying sorcery, he grows in knowledge and power—and now his dark abilities can be turned against the heroes.

The pack includes the Vital Essence Plot deck, centered around the Broken Plot card. Whenever a hero is defeated, you can exhaust Broken and place a threat token on one of that hero’s Class cards with a fatigue cost instead of gaining a threat token or drawing an Overlord card.

That token increases the fatigue cost required to trigger the affected Class card. By steadily raising the burden on the heroes, the plot can leave the party exhausted before their quest is complete.
