About this board game

Días de Radio is a real-time cooperative storytelling card game for 2 to 4 players, with games lasting approximately 14 to 24 minutes.

At the start, players choose one subgenre from a selection of twelve. They then create a shared story by speaking phrases found on the cards. Each turn places one player in the role of storyteller, while the others help shape the unfolding tale.

The storyteller sets aside their own hand during the narration. Instead, they must use only the cards given to them by the other players, continuing until time runs out. The storyteller role then passes clockwise, and the next narrator carries on the story.

• Cooperative storytelling: Work together to develop one continuous tale.
• Real-time play: Narrate under a time limit as the story moves toward its conclusion.
• Twelve subgenres: Select a different storytelling direction before beginning.
• Optional press review: Track the audience’s reaction with four distinct tableaus.

Every turn brings the game closer to its ending. When the endgame is triggered, the current storyteller must close the tale, giving the group a final opportunity to bring its improvised narrative together.

Players may also use the Press Review System. After each narration, the other players draw a cube from a common pool and place it on one of four tableaus: Creative, Bizarre, Engaging, or Poetic. At the end, the tableau with the most cubes determines the press reaction to the show. The reverse of each tableau features a fictional newspaper article praising the players.

Días de Radio is in Spanish and is fully language-dependent, with an icon system for color-blind players.
