Dungeonquest: Catacombs is an expansion for 1–4 players that adds a new level of adventure to Dungeonquest, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes.
The expansion includes full rules and components for venturing into the dread Catacombs. It broadens the Dungeonquest experience with a new setting and additional content designed for encounters beneath the dungeon.
Dungeonquest: Catacombs also adds new elements to the normal dungeon, giving players more discoveries and dangers to encounter during their games. Its contents include:
- New traps
- New monsters
- New treasures
- New room tiles
These additions provide fresh material for Dungeonquest while connecting the Catacombs with the existing dungeon experience. Whether you are venturing into the expansion’s dedicated Catacombs or encountering its new content in the normal dungeon, the set expands the range of rooms, threats, and treasures in the game.
Released in 1988, the expansion was originally published as part of Drakborgen II by Brio AB. It was released alongside additional elements, some of which were later adapted into Heroes for Dungeonquest.
