About this expansion

Heroes for Dungeonquest is an expansion for 1–4 players that adds new adventurers and equipment to the exploration, adventure, and gruesome endings of Dungeonquest, with a playing time of 90 minutes.

Inside this expansion, 12 foolhardy adventurers are ready to enter the castle in search of profit. Each new character is represented by a metal miniature with a base and character sheet, giving players more heroes to choose from when returning to the game.

The set also introduces new cards and components to expand Dungeonquest. Its contents include six new combat cards, six spell cards, eight magic ring cards, two special equipment cards, three plastic tokens, and a 10-sided die.

Originally published as part of Drakborgen II by Brio AB, Heroes for Dungeonquest includes material connected with the world of the original game. Some additional elements from that release were adapted into Dungeonquest: Catacombs.

Published in 1987, it provides a straightforward way to broaden the contents of the base game while preserving its focus on exploration, adventure, and the possibility of a gruesome ending.
