About this expansion

Escape: The Curse of the Temple – Queenie 14: Wishing Well is a 2017 board game for 1–5 players, adding a wishing well chamber and its special reward to the Escape experience.

During setup, place two randomly drawn chamber tiles next to the starting tile. Then shuffle the new wishing well chamber together with the remaining chamber tiles. This makes the well part of the chamber discovery process.

Once the wishing well chamber has been discovered, a player inside it can roll for two key symbols. Achieving this allows the player to choose one useful benefit:

  • Draw one treasure tile.
  • Get rid of a curse in front of the player.
  • Reclaim a die the player has lost.

These options give the chamber several possible uses, depending on what the player needs most. A treasure, curse removal, or recovered die can each provide a meaningful reason to seek out the wishing well.

The chamber’s benefit cannot be used repeatedly without restriction. After using the wishing well, the player must leave the chamber and re-enter it before using it again. This creates a clear rhythm of discovery, movement, and return.

Originally offered through Dice Tower’s Season 13 Indiegogo campaign, Escape: The Curse of the Temple – Queenie 14: Wishing Well centers on a compact chamber rule with multiple rewards. Its setup and re-entry requirement make the wishing well a distinct location to discover and revisit during play.
