About this board game

Etherfields is a narrative, cooperative board game for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting around 180 minutes. Across a series of unique Dreams, players explore surreal dreamscapes, face tactical encounters, and uncover a forgotten past.

At the beginning, the Dreamers enter the Dreamworld with only fragments of their memories. Their mission is specific, but much of it remains unclear. By exploring the strange world around them, players gradually restore scattered pieces of memory and learn more about who they are.

Discovery in Etherfields combines exploration with escape-room-like riddles. Look for clues in images, recognize hidden connections between different pieces of information, and rely on instinct as well as logic. The Dreamworld can become disturbing, and its mysteries may not always behave as expected.

• Puzzles and riddles: Search for visual clues and solve challenges through observation, deduction, and intuition.
• Growing complexity: Rules begin simply, then expand throughout the campaign as new possibilities emerge.
• Deckbuilding: Build and develop cards across almost every deck in the game, not only the players’ decks.

New rules can open unexpected possibilities or turn familiar assumptions upside down. This evolving structure makes each stage of the journey feel like another step deeper into a vast, shared dream.

Designed for solo play or cooperation among up to four players, Etherfields invites you to enter its dark but richly varied Dreamworld and ask what might be real when everyone shares the same dream.
