Exodus: Event Horizon

About this expansion

Exodus: Event Horizon is an expansion for 1–6 players, with games lasting around 180 minutes, that adds new modules and scenarios to Exodus: Proxima Centauri. It can be enjoyed with the base game alone or combined with the earlier Edge of Extinction expansion.

Ten compatible modules introduce fresh options and new ways to experience the Exodus universe. They can be used together or individually, with some integrating smoothly into the existing game and others creating surprising changes in play.

• Bonus Actions add more Bonus Action cards.
• Centaurian Resistance reworks Resistance fleets to better scale in threat and reward.
• Centaurian Outposts make the Centaurians defend planets against resource exploitation.
• Exploration brings unexpected events and dangers to unknown worlds.
• New Planets provide additional variety as factions expand.
• Proxima Centauri introduces the home star and its effects from solar wind.
• Jump Gates, Communication Satellites, and Energy Barriers add new strategic and tactical possibilities.
• Leaders offer powerful abilities through their unique strengths.

The expansion also includes the Centaurian Stronghold scenario, where players face a Centaurian Stronghold megastructure and relentless Warship Squadrons. It supports fully cooperative play, semi-cooperative play, and a true solitaire mode, with no player combat in the fully cooperative version.

In the competitive Event Horizon scenario, players race to score the most victory points before the neighborhood of Proxima Centauri becomes uninhabitable. Triggered events can end the game one or two turns early, making every turn important. With flexible combinations of modules and multiple scenario modes, Exodus: Event Horizon offers a substantial new challenge for returning players.
