Gold West: Trading Post Promo

About this expansion

Gold West: Trading Post Promo is a 2016 promotional addition for 2–4 players, with a play time of 60 minutes. It contains four tiles that offer an alternative to the standard 4-point tile from Boomtown.

To set up the promo, mix the four Trading Post tiles and choose one at random. Use the selected tile instead of the 4-point tile from Boomtown. This simple substitution introduces a different immediate resource effect while preserving the broader setup structure.

During gameplay, the chosen tile lets you immediately collect the pictured resource. You may use that resource during the current turn, or place it into any bin on your supply track.

Placing the resource on the supply track follows the general rules, including scoring points according to those rules. This gives the promo tile a choice between an immediate-use resource and a supply-track placement that can contribute to your score.

• Includes four Trading Post promo tiles
• Choose one tile at random during setup
• Replaces the 4-point tile from Boomtown
• Provides an immediately collected pictured resource

For an optional setup variation, leave out one of the Boomtown offices and use two additional Trading Post tiles instead. This alternative uses more of the promo content and changes the available setup elements.

Contained in Brettspiel Adventskalender 2016 for Day 21, Gold West: Trading Post Promo is a compact way to add alternate resource opportunities to the game. Its immediate collection rule and optional setup variant make the four-tile promo easy to integrate into a session.
