HEXplore It: The Mountains of Godai

About this board game

HEXplore It: The Mountains of Godai is a 2025 board game for 1–4 players with an approximately 360-minute play time.

For too long, the gods have been angered by reckless living. Now existence stands on the brink of collapse, as Jaethi, the great plumed serpent of the wind, has returned with countless elemental armies.

Jaethi is one of the five great Titans. Her power has kept the Wellspring flowing since time immemorial, but she has now come to destroy the fabric of reality. Her purpose is known only to the gods.

• Face Jaethi, the great plumed serpent of the wind.
• Confront countless elemental armies.
• Witness the disassembly of the Patterns of all things.
• Fight to prevent the collapse of the universe.

As Jaethi works to disassemble the Patterns, all that exists is placed in jeopardy. If she succeeds, the universe will collapse, leaving everything scoured clean and rebalanced by her wind.

The setting of HEXplore It: The Mountains of Godai is built around a sweeping cosmic crisis, where divine power, elemental forces, and the fate of reality are bound together. Its dramatic premise gives the game a clear focus: the survival of existence itself.

Whether played alone or with up to four players, this long-form experience presents a world threatened by a returning Titan and the forces she commands. The consequences of the gods’ anger have arrived, and the Patterns of all things may be the final line between existence and oblivion.
