Keyflower: The Farmers

Keyflower: The Farmers is an expansion for Keyflower that supports 2–6 players and has a play time of 120 minutes. It develops the agricultural side of the base game’s village-building experience.

In Keyflower, each player develops a unique village over four seasons by successfully bidding on village tiles, skills, resources, and workers known as “keyples.” The Farmers adds new farm buildings and introduces agriculture as another important part of village development.

Players can grow wheat while collecting and breeding farm animals, including cows, pigs, and sheep. Animals are kept in fields created by the layout of the roads, so the arrangement of a village now brings additional considerations to the game.

• Score points through animals, wheat, and field layouts.

These additions create new ways to score points. Players may gain points through acquiring and breeding animals, harvesting wheat, and arranging the fields in their villages.

Keyflower: The Farmers can be used with the base game in more than one way. Players may use all of its tiles and add tiles at random from Keyflower to reach the required number of tiles, or simply mix the two sets together. This lets the agricultural content become part of the wider selection of village tiles, resources, skills, boats, and keyples.
