About this board game
Kushi Express is a fast-paced BBQ skewer game for 2–4 players, with each game taking about 20 minutes. Players race to prepare the Kushi shown on each revealed order card and be the first to serve the correct combination.
Each player has a personal collection of ingredient pieces for building skewers. When the top order card is revealed, everyone gets to work at the same time, turning the required ingredients into the matching Kushi as quickly as possible.
- Four plastic ingredient blocks: Tomato, Pepper, Shrimp, and Beef steak
- Two fabric ingredients: Cheese and Bacon
- A central deck of order cards
- A dish for serving the prepared Kushi
The first player to place the right Kushi on the dish takes the order cards. The combination of simultaneous play and changing orders keeps the focus on quick recognition, speedy assembly, and accurate serving.
Every successful collection brings players closer to the ten-point goal. Once a player successfully collects ten points, the game ends with the King of Kushi.
Released in 2019, Kushi Express offers a compact tabletop challenge built around hands-on components and a race against the other players. Its clear objective makes each revealed order a direct test: identify the requested skewer, assemble it from the available ingredients, and serve it before anyone else.
