About this board game

La Granja: Deluxe Master Set is a farm-management board game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. Set by the Alpich pond near Esporles on Majorca, it challenges players to develop small farms and earn the most victory points.

Each decision matters. Choose which revenue dice to draft, decide how to play your multi-use cards, grow crops and pigs, and determine when and where to deliver goods. Flexible anytime actions provide additional ways to improve your plans throughout the game.

Every card offers four possible uses. Add it to your fields to increase your ability to grow olives, grain, or grapes; attach it to your farm to expand pig housing, deliveries, or income; use it as a market barrow for a personal contract; or hire its helper for a unique ability.

• Farm Phase: Play cards, draw new ones, take income, harvest goods and pigs, and optionally purchase roof markers.
• Revenue Phase: Draft revenue dice and perform their actions before using the undrafted die for a common action.
• Transportation Phase: Choose a donkey marker, adjust turn order, and deliver goods to village markets or personal contracts.
• Scoring Phase: Score based on the siesta track, then reset it for the next round.

After six rounds, remaining farm goods and coins are converted into victory points. The player with the highest total wins.

This 2023 Deluxe Master Set reimplements the original game with brand-new artwork, redesigned multi-layer player boards, upgraded components, metal coins, and modular expansion content. Additional modules come from Stefan Feld, Adam Kwapiński, and Andrei Novac, while promo cards include contributions from several designers.
