About this expansion
Last Will: Getting Sacked is an expansion for 2–5 players that adds job loss, weddings, and variable planning boards to the lavish race of Last Will, with games lasting about 75 minutes.
To inherit your uncle’s fortune, spending money faster than your relatives is no longer enough. You must also lose your job, proving that even the most extravagant lifestyle cannot be completed while still employed.
Each player begins with a job card. It provides regular income each turn and lists requirements for getting fired. Missing work is not sufficient: your sympathetic employer may overlook it because he liked your uncle. Instead, you need to be caught enjoying yourself when you should be working.
Once per round, you can complete one requirement on your job card to reduce your income and earn a demotion. Continue collecting demotions until every line of income has been cancelled. At that point, you may discard your employment card, celebrate being sacked, and move one step closer to victory.
- Employment cards: Gain income while working toward dismissal.
- Demotions: Complete job-card requirements to reduce your salary.
- Nuptial cards: Six wedding cards offer another way to spend piles of money in a hurry.
- Variable planning boards: Randomly select the eight plan tiles used in each game for added variety.
Getting Sacked also gives you the chance to find a demanding wife, turning a wedding into a suitably expensive part of your inheritance plan. With changing plan tiles and multiple routes toward unemployment, Last Will: Getting Sacked adds fresh variety to the original game’s race to spend everything first.
