Lord of Loot

About this board game

Lord of Loot is a cooperative, family-friendly fantasy board game for 1–5 players, with an approximately 90-minute play time. Explore a vast land, discover treasures and powerful weapons, and work together to defeat dangerous monsters and evil end bosses.

Players take turns alternating with the monsters. Each hero has four actions per turn to shape the adventure, whether adding land tiles to the map, drawing loot from loot bags, or fighting monsters. As heroes find better weapons, their attack and defense dice become stronger, helping the party face increasingly dangerous challenges.

Working together is essential, because the heroes must complete each end boss’s unique quest before they can confront it. The monster card deck represents the time available, creating a race to prepare, explore, and complete the required quests before the opportunity disappears.

• Explore a land built by adding tiles to the map.
• Draw treasures and weapons from loot bags.
• Fight monsters with attack and defense dice.
• Strengthen your heroes with better weapons and mastered magic.
• Complete unique quests before facing the end bosses.

The heroes win when all bosses have been defeated. They lose if the monster cards run out or if heroes are knocked out more than two times, so every action and battle matters.

With shared objectives, character growth, exploration, loot, and tactical monster fights, Lord of Loot challenges your party to coordinate its limited time and resources. Gather your heroes, prepare for the quests ahead, and see whether your team can overcome every boss before the adventure ends.
