About this expansion

Marvel United: War of Kings is a 2024 expansion for 1–5 players that brings the Inhumans into the Marvel United universe. Players face the threat of an all-out conflict between the Inhuman royal family, the Kree, and the Shi’ar Empire.

Genetically mutated by the Terrigen Mist, the Inhumans are an offshoot of humanity with extraordinary abilities. Their king, Black Bolt, seeks to unite the Inhumans and the Kree in the name of peace and stability, but Emperor Vulcan of the Shi’ar Empire responds with a treacherous assault.

The attack ignites the War of Kings, placing the Inhuman royal family in a struggle that threatens to ravage the galaxy. Led by Gladiator, Praetor of the Imperial Guard, the Shi’ar forces bring a powerful and conflicted opponent into the battle.

This expansion focuses on a royal group of Super Heroes and their effort to end the war before it spreads further. To withstand the onslaught of Emperor Vulcan and his Imperial Guard, the Inhumans must come together and use the mutagenic properties of Terrigen Mist to their full potential.
