Marvel Zombies: X-Men Resistance is a cooperative board game for 1–6 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Based on the core mechanics of the Zombicide series, it casts players as the last surviving Super Heroes battling a zombie plague across the X-Mansion.

In Hero Mode, the X-Men and their mutant nemeses unite against the infected. Each Super Hero has unique skills that unlock as they eliminate more zombies, while Power earned through your actions can be spent for bonus dice or to trigger special Skill and Trait effects.

Players can spend actions to acquire single-use Trait cards that enhance their abilities in different ways. Bystanders may be hiding in buildings or hunted by zombies, and rescuing them is often a primary objective. Each rescued Bystander grants a permanent ability unique to that character.

The game’s 10 Missions take players through the mansion’s ground floor, student dorms, and underground X-Men facilities. Zombies can be lurking inside any room, and the rising threat keeps every round dangerous as your heroes become stronger.

The box also includes cards for using its Heroes and Bystanders in Zombie Mode, along with unique Zombie Mode missions. The Marvel Zombies core box is required to play in Zombie Mode. With its original art by Marco Checchetto and detailed game pieces depicting iconic Marvel characters, Marvel Zombies: X-Men Resistance brings a dramatic superhero struggle to the tabletop.
