Night of the Living Dead: A Zombicide Game is a standalone game for 1–6 players that plays in about 60 minutes, based on George A. Romero’s film of the same name.

Players take on the roles of the movie’s main characters, holed up in an isolated house while the dead come to life all around them. Known as ghouls in the film, the undead create a continuous threat from outside as the survivors fight to stay safe.

The original movie is a tense psychological thriller with gritty moods and dark themes. This game brings that atmosphere to the table while allowing the survivors to take the fight to the hordes of the undead, using the standard mechanics of the Zombicide franchise.

Two distinct variants let you choose how closely the experience follows the film or how fully it embraces the Zombicide world:

• Romero: Characters use the attributes from the original movie.
• Zombicide: The movie characters have enhanced attributes suited to the Zombicide setting, but they can still regress to their original Romero character.
