Railways of Great Britain is a railway-building board game for 2–5 players, with games lasting around 90 minutes. Set in mid-19th-century Great Britain, it is an expansion for the Railways of the World system and uses a board depicting Great Britain.

The tramways that first transported coal have been upgraded into railways, while numerous companies work across the country. These companies use different railway gauges as they connect villages, towns, and cities, creating a changing network of opportunity.

To succeed, players must invest wisely and guide their railroad toward financial success. Taking control of the railways means making important choices as companies extend their reach across Great Britain.
