About this expansion

Rajas of the Ganges: Mango Village is a mini expansion for 2–4 players, with a listed play time of 75 minutes. It introduces eight new province tiles that add fresh building options, immediate rewards, and additional ways to score.

To build a Mango village, use two of a kind—colour does not matter—together with the normal building action. Each tile provides a small bonus when placed, including river movement, karma, a new die, an upgrade, or money.

• New worker spaces for scoring Mango villages again
• A brown yield tile for the Navaratnas variant

The expansion also adds new worker spaces where you can score any two of your Mango villages again. The number of these scoring opportunities is scaled according to the number of players, following the same approach as the markets.

Players using the Navaratnas variant can include a new brown yield tile. It awards $3 for each Mango village in your province, giving these distinctive tiles an additional role beyond their placement bonuses and worker spaces.

Mango villages cannot be overbuilt via the Master Builder. However, the Master Builder can be used with the normal 5 and another 5 to build a Mango village over other province tiles. The rules are provided in English and German, while the tiles are language-neutral; French and Dutch rules are available online.

With its compact set of tiles and extra scoring possibilities, Rajas of the Ganges: Mango Village expands the province-building decisions without replacing the normal building action.
