About this expansion

Revolver Expansion 1.4: The Tarnished Star is a two-player expansion for Revolver, designed for games lasting about 45 minutes and released in 2013.

Bad things are happening at Rattlesnake Creek, where decisions made in the heat of the moment can leave a lasting mark. When the dust settles, only one side can claim victory.

The Tarnished Star introduces an optional duel scene at Rattlesnake Creek, giving players a new dramatic situation to include in their games. It also adds an extra decision for the McReady player: imprisoned Santiago may be equipped with a hidden weapon.

This fourth expansion in the Revolver series builds on the Frontier Deck introduced in Revolver Expansion 1.3: Vengeance on the Frontier. New cards expand that deck while adding further possibilities to the wider game.

  • An optional duel scene at Rattlesnake Creek
  • An additional McReady-player decision involving Santiago and a hidden weapon
  • New cards for the Frontier Deck
  • New cards for both players that support deck customization

Both players gain new ways to customize their decks, bringing added variety and replayability to each game. These options let The Tarnished Star add fresh decisions without losing the tense, high-stakes atmosphere of Revolver.

Whether the duel becomes part of your game or the new cards reshape your choices, Revolver Expansion 1.4: The Tarnished Star offers another way to revisit the conflict at Rattlesnake Creek.
