Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Eternal Haka Promo Card is a 2013 board game experience for 2–5 players, with a listed play time of 45 minutes. It follows Aata Wakarewarewa, an ancient human who has outlived everyone else and become the guardian of all history.

More than a thousand years in the future, the world is covered in monsters and vile beasts drawn from myth and legend. Yet these creatures know better than to disturb the dwelling of the large human who spends his days reading, meditating, and remembering fallen friends and better times.

Every so often, hunger drives a monster toward Aata’s ancient abode. Even when dozens of other monsters join the assault, the result is always the same: the Hakas of old ring out, and the giant guardian crushes those who threaten the stories he carries through time.

Now, something has changed. Another human has entered this era, and the monsters have made a tremendous disturbance trying to reach him. Aata fears for the newcomer, but leaving his home for too long could put the stories held in his head and heart at risk.

At the same time, temporal rifts may offer Aata a chance to take up the mantle of Haka once again. His journey could help create better stories for some of his less fortunate allies, while forcing him to balance his duty as history’s guardian with the dangers gathering beyond his home.
