The Cauldron: Base Set is an unofficial fan expansion for the Sentinels of the Multiverse card game, designed for 3–5 players and playable in about 60 minutes. Released in 2016, it adds new heroes, villains, and environments to the Sentinels of the Multiverse experience.

This base set offers a broad selection of character decks, giving players 11 new heroes to bring to the table. Its lineup includes Baccarat, Doc Havoc, The Knight, Lady of the Wood, Malichae, Necro, Quicksilver, Starlight, The Stranger, Tango One, and Vanish.

The set also includes five villain decks, each providing another name to add to your games: Anathema, Dendron, Gray, The Ram, and Tiamat. Together, these decks expand the available roster with additional fan-created content for the card game.

Six environment decks round out the collection, offering new locations for your sessions. The included environments are:
