Spirit Island: Expansion Playmat is a full-color island map for 5–6-player games, with a listed play time of 120 minutes and a 2017 release year.

Designed to show the world of Spirit Island as imagined in the game’s folklore, this playmat presents the entire island in a richly illustrated layout. Its realistic landscapes create a vivid setting for play while keeping the expanded island area together in one view.

The map includes iconography for each Spirit’s home, along with a new section that is not included on the tiles in the core game. This additional space allows the game to accommodate five or six players.

To play with five or six players, you need both the playmat and the additional player tokens found in the Spirit Island: Champions of the Dahan Token Pack or Spirit Island: Jagged Earth. The cardboard versions of the two map tiles that expand the game to five or six players are also available in Jagged Earth.

Two playmat sizes are noted: the 1st Edition measures 24 × 28 inches, while the 2nd Edition measures 30 × 35 inches. Spirit Island: Expansion Playmat offers a large, cohesive presentation of the island for groups using the expanded player count.
