Star Wars: The Card Game – Galactic Ambitions is a 2016 expansion for 2–4 players, bringing the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire into a renewed struggle for the fate of the galaxy.

Across the Star Wars saga, the fledgling Rebel Alliance fights for the hearts and minds of people on countless planets. Opposing it is the monolithic Galactic Empire, ruled by the Sith Lords Darth Vader and Darth Sidious. This expansion places the conflict between these great powers at the center of the experience.

Galactic Ambitions contains 26 new objective sets, numbered 217–230. As with previous deluxe expansions, these sets focus especially on the Sith and the Rebel Alliance, while also giving every faction cards that can take decks in new directions.
