About this expansion

The Last Hundred Yards: Mission Pack 1 is a two-player WWII mission pack with an approximately 120-minute play time, covering Allied campaigns in Western Europe during 1944.

Designed to build on Volumes I and II, this expansion presents ten missions from the Normandy pre-breakout and breakout phases in July and August, the Hurtgen Forest in November, and the opening stages of the Battle of the Bulge in December. Players will need both LHY Volumes I and II to play every mission.

Experience the fighting of the 2nd Division’s 23rd Infantry Regiment as it pushes through “Hedgerow Hell” and Purple Heart Draw to seize Hill 192 from the 3rd FJ Regiment. The campaign’s wider objective was to cut the St. Lo-Bayeux highway and protect the east flank of the 3rd Army’s breakout from Normandy along the west coast.

Other missions follow Patton’s 3rd Army during its breakout, including operations that helped encircle the German 7th Army in the Falaise Pocket. Scenarios cover crossing key water barriers, establishing bridgeheads, seizing crossroads, and eliminating fortified positions.

The later missions challenge players with outnumbered Allied troops tasked with taking or holding objectives during the Hurtgen Forest and early Battle of the Bulge campaigns. New elements include Rhino tanks, hedgerows, and sunken roads, while Mission Pack Special Rules add further scenario-specific considerations.

  • Five Mission Cards containing ten missions
  • Two double-sided geomorphic maps
  • New weapons and terrain, including Rhino tanks, hedgerows, and sunken roads
  • Mission Pack Special Rules

With varied forces, situations, and battlefield features, The Last Hundred Yards: Mission Pack 1 expands the series with a demanding selection of 1944 Western Front missions.
