About this board game
The Little Prince: Rising to the Stars is a point-to-point movement game for 2–6 players, lasting about 30 minutes. Pilot your biplane from the Grandfather’s house toward the Little Prince’s planet while collecting as many stars as possible.
Every player begins with the same set of eight fox cards, numbered 1–5, with duplicates of 2, 3, and 4. The player whose plane is farthest back becomes active and plays a card, moving at least one cloud and up to the number shown. Landing on different clouds creates new opportunities:
- Star clouds: Take a star from the reserve.
- Telescope clouds: Flip a token at Grandfather’s house to discover what happens.
- Bird clouds: Draw a card from Grandfather’s deck for additional movement options.
- Occupied clouds: Trade cards after taking one at random from an opponent’s hand.
As you cross the three connecting boards, collect story tiles worth 1–5 stars. Gathering both the fox and the Little Prince is especially rewarding, earning eight stars for the pair instead of only two.
Reaching the Little Prince’s planet requires extra movement cards, but the journey offers a valuable reward: a star-filled paper plane, with the quickest players receiving the most stars. In The Little Prince: Rising to the Stars, the player with the most stars at the end wins.
