About this board game

The Oracle of Delphi is a 2–4-player board game with an approximate 100-minute play time, in which rival ships race across the Aegean to complete twelve legendary tasks for Zeus.

Each game unfolds across a large, variable board of hexagonal tiles depicting islands and surrounding waters. You guide your ship from place to place, discovering the locations of monsters, offerings, temples, statues, and sanctuaries needed to fulfill Zeus’s demands.

At the start of every turn, you roll three colored oracle dice. Their results represent the answers of the oracle and determine which color-dependent actions you can perform. You always receive three actions per turn, while a slight divergence from your fate is often possible.

• Collect offerings in different colors and deliver them to matching temples.
• Slay monsters of specific types and colors.
• Erect statues and raise sanctuaries on the islands.

To pursue victory, you must manage your route and respond to the opportunities presented by each roll. The changing board setup and differently equipped ships create new strategic and tactical decisions from one game to the next.

You can also seek support from the gods, acquire favor tokens, recruit companions, and gain other special abilities to help your progress. With its race to master all twelve assignments, The Oracle of Delphi combines exploration, changing dice-driven possibilities, and competition across a mythic Greek setting.
