About this expansion

The Witcher: Old World – Legendary Hunt is a 2023 expansion for 1–5 players with a play time of 150 minutes. It introduces a powerful Legendary Monster that appears at the beginning of the game, travels across the Continent, and leaves destruction in its wake.

Players can prepare for the final confrontation from the very start. Witchers must train, hunt other monsters, and gather information while following the Legendary Hunt Cards that move the enemy around the map and create opportunities to learn more about the coming threat.

Each Legendary Monster is represented by a huge miniature and has a special Large Monster Card describing its unique abilities and attacks. Special tokens mark the destruction left behind as the monster moves across the map, making its presence part of the changing game situation.

• Legendary Hunt Cards that guide the monster’s movement and support information gathering

Winning requires more than surviving the hunt: killing a Legendary Monster is the only way to win the game. The expansion works with the standard game and its basic solo mode, and it can be combined with all Modes from the Monster Trail.

It is also compatible with Mages, Lost Mount, and the Adventure Pack. Legendary Hunt does not work with Wild Hunt, which already includes boss miniatures selected by the players.

With its roaming threat, dedicated combat cards, and final-enemy objective, The Witcher: Old World – Legendary Hunt adds a focused hunt for a monster powerful enough to become a witcher’s defining legend.
