About this board game
Tipp-Kick is a two-player tabletop soccer game that takes about 10 minutes to play, with each player controlling one field player and one goalie. Released in 1921, it uses metal miniatures and a distinctive 14-sided black-and-white ball to determine possession.
The color showing on top of the ball decides which player kicks next. The active player places their field player next to the ball, then releases its leg to strike the ball. This simple kicking mechanism creates the central action of the game, turning each attempt into a direct contest between attacker and goalkeeper.
While one player takes the kick, the other tries to block it with their goalie. After the kick is complete, the ball’s color once again determines possession, and the same procedure begins again. The alternating sequence keeps both players involved throughout the match.

Tipp-Kick focuses on the essential moments of soccer: controlling the next kick, striking the ball with a field player, and positioning the goalie to stop the opposing attempt. Its compact format and clearly defined turn procedure make every kick part of the game’s central back-and-forth.
