Twilight Struggle: Turn Zero and Promo Packs is an expansion collection for 2 players, with a listed play time of up to 360 minutes. Released in 2017, it adds new cards, an alternative starting point, and an optional rule for varying the Space Race.

The collection includes the Turn Zero expansion and two separate Promo Packs. Together, the Promo Packs add four new cards each, while Turn Zero contributes twelve new cards to the game.

• Two Promo Packs: Each includes four new cards, with some featuring “What if” alternate-history additions.
• Turn Zero: Adds twelve new cards and a new starting point for Twilight Struggle.
• Optional Space Race Track: Includes rules that add variability to the Space Race.

These expansions were first offered exclusively to backers of the digital edition of Twilight Struggle during its Kickstarter campaign. Following customer requests, matching sets were produced for wider availability.

The later sets are identical to the Kickstarter packs in every way except for their card backs. Their backs use the standard style of the GMT Games-published Twilight Struggle Deluxe Edition printings from 2009 onward, making this release compatible with that edition.

For players looking to broaden their existing game, Twilight Struggle: Turn Zero and Promo Packs offers additional cards, alternate-history possibilities, and a new way to begin a session. The optional Space Race Track provides another choice for adding variety to the classic experience.
