Wendake: Promo Tiles

Wendake: Promo Tiles is a two-tile promotional set for the 2017 game Wendake, which supports 1–4 players and has a play time of 90 minutes.

These promo tiles were included in games sent to Kickstarter backers. They were also available for free with a purchase of the game at the 2017 SPIEL and Lucca fairs, making them a distinct promotional addition to Wendake.

The set includes one Level 1 Action tile and one Level 3 Progress tile. Each tile provides a different rule, giving players additional details to incorporate when using the corresponding tile type.

• Level 1 Action tile: It has no effect when activated on its Action side. Its Ritual side works normally, and the tile is worth 4 points at the end of the game.
• Level 3 Progress tile: At any point during your turn, you may move up to 2 points between any two Score Tracks of your choice.

The Level 1 Action tile combines a blank Action-side activation with a functioning Ritual side and an end-game value of 4 points. The Level 3 Progress tile focuses on flexibility, allowing points to be moved between two selected Score Tracks during your turn.

Wendake: Promo Tiles is therefore a compact promotional set defined by two clearly different effects: one tile changes how activation and final scoring work, while the other permits limited movement between Score Tracks. It is a small addition with rules that are easy to reference during play.
