The box is also connected to the career of its designer. Paul Bonner is a Yorkshire-born Englishman who has lived in Copenhagen since the early 1990s. After earning a degree in Illustration at the Harrow College of Art, he illustrated many children’s books as a freelance artist in London before spending three years with the Games Workshop Design Studio.

After moving to Denmark, Bonner continued his relationship with Games Workshop and contributed to titles including Mutant Chronicles, Rackham’s Confrontation, Shadowrun, and Riotminds. With its four featured Survivors and notable illustration pedigree, Zombicide: Black Plague Special Guest Box – Paul Bonner is a focused addition for fans of the setting and the designer’s work.
