Ticket to Ride Map Collection 8: Iberia & South Korea is a railway strategy game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2024, this collection offers two distinctive maps, each with its own rules and tactical opportunities.

On the Iberian peninsula, players begin by drafting six destination cards and keeping four. They repeat this process before the train deck runs out for the first time, creating a total of eight destination cards to pursue with only 35 trains. Completing routes is only part of the challenge, as festival cards can make certain cities increasingly valuable.

• Iberia: Connect cities to collect festival cards and build valuable collections for the end of the game.
• South Korea: Use colored routes, province mats, and express train cards to compete for bonus points.

The Iberian deck contains 54 festival cards. When one is drawn, it is placed beside the corresponding city. Build a route connecting to one or two cities with festival cards, choose one of those cities, and collect every festival card beside it. The more cards gathered from a city, the more those cards are worth at game’s end.

In South Korea, players use the same opening destination-card draft, keeping four from six. Routes are grouped by color across the map. When claiming a route, you may also place a train on an empty matching-color space on the province mat, based on the number of cards played; playing extra cards lets you target a higher-numbered space.

Each player also has express train cards valued at +1, +2, and +3. Spend one to draw more train cards, draw more destination cards, or claim a higher number on the province mat. At the end, each color is evaluated, and the player or players with the highest claimed total earn bonus points.
