Viticulture World: Cooperative Expansion

About this expansion

Viticulture World: Cooperative Expansion is a cooperative board game for 1–6 players, with play lasting about 120 minutes. Released in 2022, it challenges a group of winemakers to gain global recognition across asymmetric regions around the world.

Each player manages an individual vineyard while contributing to the group’s combined effort. The selected region shapes the cooperation, objectives, and asymmetry of the experience, creating a shared challenge that requires players to balance personal progress with the needs of the entire team.

Using the new game board, tiles, tokens, and event cards alongside the original vineyard mats and game cards, the players have six years to complete two conditions for victory:

• Every player must reach 25 victory points.
• The shared influence token must reach the end of the influence track.

Both objectives must be achieved, so individual success alone is not enough. Players must coordinate their vineyard management and work together to increase influence within the region before the six-year limit ends.

The cooperative structure and regional asymmetry in Viticulture World are similar to those found in Spirit Island and Orleans: Invasion. This expansion combines its new content with elements from the original game to create a shared winemaking challenge.

The Viticulture core game is required to play this expansion. Other expansions are compatible with Viticulture World, allowing it to be used alongside additional Viticulture content.
