About this expansion

The Witcher: Old World – Skellige is an expansion for 1–5 players with a play time of 150 minutes, released in 2023. It adds a sizable board extension filled with new locations and location tokens, making the map larger and more varied.

Travel to the Skellige Islands, as well as other unexplored islands, using three new ship miniatures. Every voyage brings a new sea adventure, while a dedicated Exploration and Event card system introduces fresh possibilities during your travels. Some cards may even summon Dagon, an ancient monster.

Skellige is inhabited by different clans and offers opportunities for political connections, training, monster hunting, and adventure. Visiting the islands can be beneficial, but journeys across the Great Sea rarely come without a cost.

The expansion includes:

• 1 Dagon monster miniature
• 3 ship miniatures
• 1 game board
• 1 large monster card
• 6 harbour tokens
• 50 exploration cards
• 30 event cards

The Witcher: Old World – Skellige works with the standard game and basic solo mode. It can also be combined with all Modes from the Monster Trail, the Legendary Hunt, Mages, Lost Mount, and the Adventure Pack.

It does not fully work with Wild Hunt because much of the expansion consists of new Exploration Cards. Players may still choose to add the expanded map with its new locations and Ship travel.
